february dreams

i just woke and meditated.

Kavita came in with a milk coffee and some chocolate chip cookies.

I swear Im treated like a little kid here, in a good way. A little kid who gets fed cookies for breakfast and hot chocolate at night.

I went out and took my laundry and got one of my favorite biscuits for this coffee. Biscuits that are grainy and taste like a bit of oatmeal in a circle.

Speaking of circles I came to write my dreams…

I was in a school with Vince teaching. Someone took me out to show me what they were doing on the outskirts of this lake. We walked through some brush where there were 3 people performing a sacred ritual.

A sat on the floor and began documenting as I was talking to this man, he smiled at me and asked if I was documenting?

I said of course, he looked at me and smiled again, smiled into my camera.

A woman gave me a jingly bracelet to wear around my neck, it sounded so peaceful and sweet.

Mmm, this coffee is good.

The sound of the anklet around my neck was like tiny chimes. I walked a bit further and one of the men pointed for me to look through the brush.

There, imbetween the water and the bushes was an elephant lying on its side.

I was amazed and began to film this magical rest between the camera and the bushes.

the light was dancing in circles between the elephant and the leaves.

Then i sat on the side of the water, I looked up into the trees and saw sorts of tree houses, ladders within the trees.

I asked who lived there and can’t quite remember the reply.

I began filming again but as I started to film the only thing I saw was myself reflected, I took some snap shots, I saw myself reflected on all angles, I looked different then I could recall but happy. I realized I’ve just been filming myself reflected in everything else.

As we are all a part of the beauty in this world.

I stood up again and noticed one of the shaman began doing a tarot reading with a set of cards on the elephants back.

I asked about this but it was time to leave, the sacred ritual need to go another way and I was to return.

I gave the woman back her bracelet, I had wanted to keep it, as a token, but I knew it was rightfully hers and that she needed it.

As I returned to the school I found Vince.

I asked him how it had went, it was darker inside the classroom, dimmer, and he said it got crazy.

He wished they could play and learn in the streets.

I told him that the streets didn’t have the right kind of room and yes outside would be better for them to learn but it couldn’t be the streets. It needed to be somewhere like a large field with green where they could spread out.

He agreed.

The dream faded away. To a dream note from Papa asking to share breakfast with me and to my morning meditation…….
